I was born in Indiana with an overactive imagination. I moved to Los Angeles at 18 to study at USC's School of Architecture and explore the potential of design.
I have always seen design as a way to affect people and create stories. Narrative was always the base of my designs then, but the stories always came second. In search of a change, I started to workin on films. In film, design's greatest purpose is to affect the audience and tell a story. I ound my perfect new outlet.
After graduating, I attended the AFI Conservatory, where I completed my MFA in Production Design. My thesis film NANI premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and was awarded a Student Academy Award.
Since, I have worked freelance designing films, music videos, commercials, and web content with a wide range of budgets, styles and genres. My goal is to create worlds with a deep sense of character, place, and emotion that illustrate and stregnthen all the layers of a story. I currently reside and work in Los Angeles.
